It can be stressful running a successful photography business. Before you know it you may find yourself spending more time on post production than on booking and shooting the event itself. It is these tasks that chip away at your time and ultimately your profits. Album design can take up a large amount of time and effort. It is not just the initial design but start adding up the time spent on revisions. You can change that by allowing us to take care of the design part while you focus on other tasks.
CAN I REALLY AFFORD TO OUTSOURCE?
When considering whether you can afford to outsource or not ask yourself if you can afford not to. With extra time on your hands you can focus on marketing to acquire more clients, shoot more weddings/sessions, spend more time with your family or relax and take a break. Our fees are very reasonable and can easily be recovered with some simple up selling or additional bookings you made with your extra time.
WILL YOUR DESIGNS MATCH STYLE?
We work closely with you to determine what your vision is for the final outcome and strive to create designs that will compliment your photography style. We can simulate your existing designs so your clients will not notice any changes in design styles by looking through some of your previous studio albums.
WHAT IS YOUR TURN AROUND TIME?
The initial layout preview will be ready in 3 to 5 business days depending on workload.
DO YOU WORK WITH INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS?
We are based in Canada but can work with photographers from around the world. All you need is an internet connection!
DO I NEED TO SUBMIT COLOR CORRECTED IMAGES TO YOU?
Yes our design service does not include color correction. You must submit color corrected images.
WHAT FORMAT SHOULD MY IMAGES BE?
- All files must be high quality print resolution- 300dpi
- Embedded color profile of Adobe RGB (1998) or sRGB – should match the lab or album companies specs that you will be using.
- No RAW files please.
HOW SHOULD I NAME MY FILES?
To ensure that your photographs are placed in the order that you want please make sure that your files:
- Have a logical numerical sequence to them (for example image 5 comes before image 10).
- Your EXIF data shows the accurate date and time the photograph was taken.
- Synchronize the time if using multiple camera bodies.
HOW DO I ENSURE SOME OF MY FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE USED?
We recommend you have a “MUST USE ” folder in which you put those images. A “MUST USE” folder is for images that absolutely have to be included in the album no matter what.
DO YOU HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH MY CLIENT?
No, we do not have any contact with your client. We correspond with you only.
DO YOU ONLY DESIGN ALBUMS/BOOKS FOR WEDDINGS?
We can design an album for any occasion… engagement, anniversaries, graduations, family sessions, maternity/baby, etc.
